Now this is a handy gadget for those who immediately goes on social media as soon as their flight lands. Cherry Mobile’s CherryRoam, powered by Glocal’s CloudSIM technology, gives users 4G LTE connectivity in over 100 countries worldwide.

The device itself looks like an old smartphone from 2012 with its small touch screen, squared-off body, and thick profile. You’ll forgive it’s dull looks for its functionality, however.

To put it briefly, it’s a pocket Wi-Fi that accepts local SIMs, a part-time 5,340 mAh power bank, sprinkled with the ability to connect to other countries’ telcos. You just need to subscribe to a suitable data package before you go on your trip.

You can check out the data packages and other details in the images below:

Cherry Mobile is selling the CherryRoam for Php 6,990, which we imagine is not a whole lot for its intended market of frequent flyers.
