If there was ever a term for the opposite of “resting on their laurels,” China smartphone brand OPPO is the complete embodiment of it. Only last month, the company announced and subsequently released a dual-camera OPPO F3 Plus, which turned out to be a hit with consumers, selling over 8,000 units on its first 3 days on sale.

Now, there’s an even more affordable version of the same, sporting the same dual-camera setup up front, but a smaller screen and of course, a reduced price. It’s called the OPPO F3, and it features a 5.5-inch Full HD in-cell touchscreen display, plus a lot of the same highlight features from its big brother, the OPPO F3 Plus. The most interesting thing about it is the fact that its form factor lends itself to a more ergonomic overall experience, which is why it might just end up selling even more in this selfie-crazed world.

We haven’t got the full details yet, but we know that the OPPO F3 comes with a 13MP rear auto-focus camera with LED flash, 4GB RAM, and 64GB storage. The dual-cam thingie on the front boasts a 16MP main sensor, and a Double wide-angle view for selfies with your friends. We’ll update this post with pricing and release info as soon as we get it.

The OPPO F3 is going to be available simultaneously in five countries: Philippines, India, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Indonesia. It’s will go on sale starting on May 13th for Php 16,990.
