Last month, Asus opened up pre-orders for the Zenfone 3 Zoom. Its actual retail price still unknown at the time, the Zenfone 3 Zoom could be pre-ordered for absolutely nothing, basically like a pre-registration type of thing. But in case you missed it, and you now want to buy the phone outright, you’re in luck. Asus has already made it available in actual Asus concept stores and various retail locations across the country.
So naturally, the price is out: it’s Php 23,995, and that’s for a phone with high mid-range overall specs, plus a dual camera setup on the back that features a 12MP Sony IMX362 sensor as well as a 12MP Samsung 3M3 sensor right beside it. You read that right, there’s a Sony and a Samsung camera just on the back of the Zenfone 3 Zoom. On the front, there’s a 13MP camera with a Sony IMX214 sensor, so you know that selfies are also a cakewalk.
At the very least, the Zenfone 3 Zoom’s camera performance should be better than the more affordable Zenfone Live. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Zen UI 3.0 as the default OS, and sports a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED screen with Gorilla Glass 5, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, and a 5000mAh battery. Mobile photography aficionados might be in for this one. And if you swing by the nearest Asus concept store, we’re sure they’ll let you try the thing. Available colors are Navy Black, Glacier Silver, Rose Gold.
